RMAs Help Catch Bountiful Lake Bass
Several members of RMA and B.A.S.S. and others showed up at Bountiful Lake early on Wednesday, July 24, 2002, (a state holiday in Utah) to help the DWR catch bass for replanting in another community fishery in the state.
Rod Miller, Rayne Miller and her friend Cassy Leaper, Ryan Miller, Ray Schelble, RMA Randy Brudnicki (who works for the DWR) and Randys son helped DWR urban fisheries biologist Drew Cushing catch the largemouths. Several members of B.A.S.S. also helped, including Roy Hawk of Fish Tech.
Drew ended up with about 300 fish, mostly small bass caught with the nets, to move to Sunset Pond in Draper. Nine bass were caught by hook-and-line. The bass were needed to throttle an illegally introduced population of pumpkinseeds, an aggressive panfish from back east that can create problems in western fisheries.

RMA Ryan Miller plys the shoreline cover July 24, 2002, in search of Bountiful Lake largemouth.
